ITA Expands Warehouse Facility in Ormond Beach Saint Augustine , FL—September 25, 2006— In response to increasing sales volumes, ITA Inc. has increased the carrying capacity in its distribution center in Ormond Beach, Florida. The expanded facility, now 50% larger, will enable the company to enhance shipping volumes and delivery times to customers. The facility was initially established in 2004 to handle the company's LaPlaya® Shutters and serve as a training facility for the fabrication of both LaPlaya Shutters and Caslan® Design Designer Shadings. However, the facility has been reorganized and will be totally dedicated to Shutter products. On the reorganization, Caslan will be relcoated to ITA’s textile processing location in Lexington, GA. According to Bill Harris, President, ITA's distribution center will continue to serve as a modern, centralized testing facility, where the company will conduct ongoing research into new products and materials. The center will also function as a training facility where fabricators will learn new ways to maximize production efficiency and quality assurance for the LaPlaya Shutter System. The training is part of an array of customer support services provided by ITA, which include marketing and merchandising programs, sample books, co-op advertising, technical assistance, and turnkey manufacturing support, including equipment, software, and plant set-up.
