New Fabrics Add Flair to Meritec® Interior Design Series Shades

St. Augustine , FL —March 30, 2006 — ITA, Inc. has expanded the range of its premier residential shading line, Meritec® Interior Design Series, with the addition of four new fabric styles, including textured woven grasses and a sophisticated two-tone weave.

The new Belgique collection is woven from premium, cross-dyed polyester yarns, for a fascinating tone-on-tone effect reminiscent of heather and tweed-like patterns. The fabric is laminated to a PVC-free, non-woven backing that provides excellent privacy control. This duplex construction creates an elegant interior ambiance, while presenting a neat, neutral-white appearance to the outside.

Three new woven grass styles, Asiana, Solaré and Singapore, capture the visual and textural variety of nature itself. The distinctive patterns and colorations of these shading fabrics are a natural for casual, upbeat room settings; but they can also add dramatic accents to a wide variety of décor. Subtle distinctions in light filtering are achieved by variations in the weave and fineness of the material. The result is a designer-quality shade at prices to suit most home decorators. Available in widths up to 72 inches, each of the four new fabrics is also certified as GreenAssured™ under ITA’s proprietary testing program for compatibility with international environmental standards.
