Palm Coast, FL—April 21, 2009— ITA Inc., a Palm Coast-based manufacturer of window fashions, shutters and shades, announces the launch of Energy Savvy™, a new certification program that demonstrates substantial energy savings. Mirasol Premier Performance shutters are the first ITA product to be Energy Savvy certified; other products will follow.

Energy Savvy is a standards-based certification program that helps consumers reduce their carbon footprint while enjoying a wide selection of high-quality, beautiful window fashions. The program was developed in response to a growing awareness of the potential for energy savings through window treatments. These savings, in turn, translate to lower costs and better protection for the environment through the reduction of damaging carbon emissions, which are linked to climate change.

To launch its Energy Savvy product line, ITA has tested and certified Mirasol® Premier Performance shutters. These shutters are manufactured from a solid-core, closed-cell composite that provides an unprecedented range of features, including superior strength, stiffness, light weight and resistance to warping, denting and chipping. Mirasol Premier Performance shutters are already GreenAssured® certified for formaldehyde free formulation and FR Assured® certified for meeting official fire retardant standards. And now, with Energy Savvy certification, Mirasol Premier Performance shutters are scientifically proven to meet rigorous energy savings criteria. Mirasol Premier Performance shutters can:

• Reduce area temperatures up to 7.4˚F.
• Reduce energy consumption by up to 10%.
• Reduce harmful carbon emissions.
• Increase cost savings.
